WARRANTY

WHO IS COVERED:

This warranty extends only to the first purchaser of Boat-Floors and does not extend to future purchasers of the product or subsequent owners of the vessel on which it was installed. 

 

WHAT IS COVERED:

Boat-Floors is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 36 months from the date of final payment to the dealer or installer, assuming final payment is received on-time. Any unreasonable delay in payment will void this warranty in its entirety.  

 

WHAT IS NOT COVERED:

Boat-Floors cannot and does not warrant the installation of its product, due to the varying quality of any substrate or deck on which its product is installed.  For similar reasons (loose paint, for instance), Boat-Floors does not warrant the adhesion of its product to a boat or any other surface.

Although Boat-Floors is designed for installation in the harsh marine environment, some fading or discoloration of the product may occur with time and use, and no warranty is expressed or implied for such fading.

Boat-Floors is extremely stain-resistant, but no warranty is expressed or implied against staining, since protecting Boat-Floors from harsh chemicals and deteriorating materials is the buyer's responsibility.

Additionally, although Boat-Floors manufactures an extremely durable product that will not absorb water if punctured by a pet's clawing or scratching, or by dragging heavy objects, no warranty is expressed or implied for any such damage. 

 

REMEDY:

Any materials determined to have material and/or workmanship defects within 36 months of final payment will be replaced by the Boat-Floors manufacturer in Naples, FL.  Boat-Floors may elect to pay shipping, but installation of replacement material is not covered under this warranty. To make a claim under this warranty, buyer must submit photographs of defective areas, of such quality as to clearly enable the determination of the defect.

No part or interpretation of this warranty shall obligate Boat-Floors to anything more than the replacement of the defective product.  Neither shall this Limited Warranty create liability under any theory of liability, or obligate Boat-Floors to pay or be held responsible for any consequential or indirect damages of any type.  Any "good-faith" or other accommodation by Boat-Floors beyond the scope and meaning of this warranty shall not be construed as a modification of this warranty in any way.

This document constitutes the entire warranty of Boat-Floors products, and cannot be superseded or re-interpreted by any dealer warranty or any other warranty of this product of any kind unless specifically included in this warranty. Further, there is no implied warranty of fitness or suitability for any particular purpose.
